About Me

Born and raised in Japan, Misa has been a Hawaii resident since 1990. Even though her college major resulted in becoming a certified nutritionist in Japan, her career in Hawaii has been in the realm of finance. She worked as an assistant to a CPA whose clientele were Japanese nationals; worked for over 10 years in all lines of insurance, and became a leading producer for liability account production and mortgage originations.

In each career field, Misa understood the value of strengthening her knowledge through continuing education. Misa has earned the LUTCF (Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow) designation from American College in 2000, and is certified in banking and mortgage transactions. She is a registered Japanese interpreter for the Hawaii Judiciary. Misa easily communicates and conducts negotiations with both Japanese and English speaking clients.

Misa is detail oriented and thorough with contracts. She is also aware that the key to successful transactions begins with listening to and understanding the objectives of her clients. She obtained her real estate license in 2007, shadowing one of the top producers of a boutique real estate company. By joining List Sotheby's International Realty, she is honored to be a member of a group of professionals which maintains integrity and passion for clients.
