About Me

Jenny Kono is strongly rooted in Hawaii Real Estate. Born and raised in Kailua, Oahu, Jenny has an innate and sophisticated sense of the island from a young and vibrant perspective. After receiving her B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara she moved back to the islands to pursue a career in real estate. Starting from the ground up, Jenny spent several years working at a real estate brokerage in various administrative positions. During this time, she developed a resourceful understanding of Oahu real estate processes and the many facets involved in running a real estate business.

Kono began to focus her efforts in the realm of marketing, becoming a proficient graphic designer and website consultant. Jenny’s keen eye for luxury markets and design presents itself in her ability to create, develop and implement unique and long-term real estate marketing strategies.

In 2010 Jenny became General Manager of Ohana Beach Rentals Hawaii, Oahu’s largest luxury rental company. There, she developed a niche expertise in Oahu’s luxury vacation rental market, managing over 100 luxury properties and bringing in millions in rental income each year for her clients.

Today, Jenny is Hawaii's leading expert in luxury vacation rentals. She is well versed in Oahu’s Land Use Ordinance and able to advise clients of the legal options available for short-term and vacation rentals. She devotes her full time in assisting clients to purchase, create, rent and sell luxury vacation rental properties.

In September 2013, Jenny joined Hawaii's top selling luxury brokerage, Elite Pacific Properties as both a brokerage agent and vacation rental manager. With her expertise, she has been an integral part of their growing Vacation Rental Department. Her hard work, business savvy and ingenuity allow her to provide the best service to her real estate clients who love her for her integrity and youthful energy.
