Growing up in beautiful Manoa Valley, Joshua attended Mid-Pacific Institute where his excellent work ethic and passion for sports and fine arts grew. Among the various sports he played, Joshua excelled as a placekicker for the Pac-5 football team having earned All-State and All-ILH honors. He later went on to play at Occidental College where he received All-SCIAC Honors. At Occidental College, Joshua received a bachelor of Fine Arts and Art History degree with an emphasis in sculpture and art installation.

Prior to becoming a Realtor Associate with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Advantage Realty, Joshua taught English at various private and public institutions in Beijing, China. While living abroad and traveling extensively throughout China and South East Asia, he immersed himself in the local communities and cultures. For Joshua, everyday living abroad was an adventure that brought constant change which displayed his adaptability and resourcefulness.
