Jovanna's decision to launch her real estate career was an easy one: the Hawaii market has been a lifelong passion that drew her in after a previous career in philanthropic fundraising.
Jovanna grew up in Lanikai, attended Punahou School, and later earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Skidmore College in New York. With deep ties to the islands, she returned home to start a family with her husband Dr. Dylan Fern, after having previously lived in Madrid, Grenada and New York.
Jovanna lives by her motto, a quote from Mark Twain: “The secret to getting ahead is getting started”. She values the importance of actively listening to buyers and sellers, and her outgoing, genuine personality immediately puts her clients at ease. Being a natural leader and negotiator, she stays calm and focused, expertly guiding her clients through every aspect of their real estate transaction.
Her out-of-work loves? Her two daughters, cavaliers, interior design, and competitive riding. Jovanna is a lifelong competitive equestrian, both showing in Hunter Jumpers and playing Polo on her college team. She won a National Championship in 2002.
