Aloha! My name is Elgine Onaka. I was born and raised on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. I am the eldest of four children and have always stepped into the role of taking care of others, whether it be my younger siblings or anyone else in need. This soon became one of my greatest passions and one of the most rewarding.
I was taught early on that Ho’okipa is a way of life, which means serving others by giving your best. This applies to both my personal and professional life. Practicing Ho’okipa is important to me because I am not only helping others which brings me great joy but I am honoring my ancestors who have instilled this practice in me.
I currently reside in Mililani and enjoy spending time with my family, especially my grandchildren, traveling, riding dirt bike and going to the beach.
