About Me

Linda Kawakami was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area and moved to Hawai`i after marrying Todd, a local boy, and his desire to be home after his battle with cancer. Linda considers herself now a kama`aina, too.

She received a B.A. in history and MLS (Master in Library Science) from San Jose State University and an M.Ed (Master in Educational Leadership) from Dallas Baptist University. She began her career as a librarian, moving into education as a teacher, school librarian, and administrator. She and her husband have purchased and sold primary residences, flips, and investment properties. When not working, Linda enjoys traveling (mainly to Japan and the Big Island) and enjoying her weekly date night with Todd, which has been instrumental in their marriage for over 30 years. Their baby is a Bichon Frise dog who is spoiled rotten.

Her years in education have helped her gain essential skills that allow her to provide the best service to her clients in real estate. She prides herself on being trustworthy, honest, and organized. She aims to make each client feel comfortable and at ease with buying or selling a home by providing clear and timely communication.
