About Me

As someone who knows what it’s like to be both the agent and the buyer/seller when it comes to real estate transactions, Akiko uses her prior experiences and current expertise to assist her family, friends, and community. As an agent with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Hawai’i Realty, Akiko uses unparalleled access to the latest technology and local connections to put her clients in the best position possible. Ultimately, Akiko hopes to educate people through real estate and allow them to live their best lives.

Before her current career in real estate, Akiko worked as an Assistant Program Director for a non-profit educational institution that focused on educational exchange, professional collaboration, and cultural understanding. There, she wore many hats, but what she gained most from it was the importance of building relationships with people, something she still strives to do daily.

Born in Japan, Akiko grew up in Maui. Spending most of her adult years living on O’ahu and a short time on Molokai, Akiko is familiar with the unique aspects of the Hawaiian Islands. Akiko holds a Bachelor's degree in Second Language Studies and a minor in English from the University of Hawai?i at M?noa. During her free time, Akiko is often at the beach, reading, baking, and spending time with her husband and two sons.
