Why become a member?
Membership to HHOC, normally $60, includes homebuyer education classes. Upon completion of the classes, a certificate is issued that is often required for various home loan programs. Other services that come with the HHOC lifetime membership include unlimited homeownership coaching and post-purchase services. This education and counseling help put you on the path to homeownership.
REALTOR® clients can become a member for just $10!*
* Additional costs will apply for those who prefer the self-paced education option versus the "live" classes via Zoom. A soft credit report is available as an additional charge for those who opt for this option. With self-paced education, you have class access through a website to complete at your convenience and the certificate issued after a follow-up session with a HHOC staff person. “Live” classes are scheduled virtual class sessions with a live instructor.

*Membership is offered for the “buying unit” which includes everyone that will be involved in applying for the home loan or is in the household (i.e. a spouse that won’t be involved in the loan application but will live in the home can be included as a co-client who attends the classes at no additional charge).
